The face behind the lens
I do love my job
Hi I'm Mike a wedding photographer based in the wonderful, picturesque county of Buckinghamshire.
Ideally placed to serve the Home Counties, the Midlands, London and beyond.
I'm honoured to have the opportunity to play a small part in the grand scheme of things and share in your day.
My first stint as a wedding photographer came at the request from friends who had been let down at the eleventh hour.
Relishing the opportunity I jumped straight in. I found it exciting, gloriously demanding, stimulating and ultimately satisfying.
At last I had found my vocation. Here was something I truly enjoyed, loved doing and wanted to pursue on a full-time basis.
To that end I took several courses, did workshops and completely immersed myself in all aspects of wedding and portrait photography.
Some brief history
Born in the West Midlands I always had an aptitude for being creative. Absolutely loved to draw and paint.
I used to be a professional musician and I've also studied Martial Arts for over 40 odd years. When not behind my camera I love motorcycles, surfing, mountain bikes, reading, I really enjoy cooking.
My love affair with photography started whilst I was a teenager back in school during the 1970's. I took photos of everything. Buildings, cars, motorcycles, places, animals and nature.
As my skills evolved I looked for more of a challenge, eventually finding myself drawn to photographing people.
My photography continued to flourish throughout the eighties and nineties where like everybody else, I made the transition from film to digital.
